75th Independence of Republic of India as “AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV”

We celebrated 75th Independence of Republic of India as “AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV” in the campus of Jalal-Abad State University named after B. Osmonov, Jalal-Abad, Kyrgyzstan in presence of H.E. Ambassador Shri. Alok A. Dimri, Embassy of India, Bishkek. He is a magnetic personality we have ever seen. Having an intellectual flair of all the fields he left an incredible impression of his personality.  Sirgabaev Absattar Toktogulovich, Governor of Jalal-Abad, Ernosbek Ormokov Abdigalilovich, Mayor of Jalal-Abad city, Prof. Usenov Keneshbek Jumabekovich, Rector of Jalal-Abad State University were also invited as guests.

Mrs. Prachi Shah Paandya, a renowned international Kathak Dancer was invited from Mumbai to perform on this auspicious occasion.

The program started timely as it was scheduled at 7:00 PM. All the guests were welcomed by Dr. Dhatrika Pradeep Kumar, Vice Dean of Cultural Affairs & Finance for International Medical Faculty in Jalal-Abad State University named after B. Osmonov. The Auditorium was full of students and local audience.

The program was started by the Ambassador with lighting the “Deep”. Indian students performed a classical dance with opening of the program. An English song was also sung by two Indian students. A Bollywood dance was one of the best performance by an Indian girl student of MBBS. Now it was the turn of Mrs. Prachi Shah to perform. She appeared on the stage with her group gave many a heart-winning performances. A round of applause didn’t stop till the end of the program. With the end of performance prize distribution program started.

All the guest of local bodies delivered speeches in appreciation of our campus i.e. its quality education, hostel facilities and many more. They also assured their cooperation from time to time if required. In addition, they proclaimed they would always welcome Indian citizens in Kyrgyzstan on student visa as well as on tourist visa. At the end H.E. Ambassador Shri. Alok A. Dimri, Embassy of India addressed the Indian students and appreciated them for their excellence in their academics and other co-curricular activities. He also declared JASU as the best campus for MBBS scholars in Kyrgyzstan as he had a planned a special meeting with Indian students in the morning and had a look at all the areas of the campus i.e. hostel, academics, library, mess, administrative block and many more.
