Jalal-Abad State University named after B.Osmonov Medical Faculty, a seminar was held on the issues of compulsory health insurance for domestic and foreign students. The event was organized by the Compulsory Health Insurance Fund under the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic. During the seminar, the development of a new bill on compulsory health insurance for citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic and foreign citizens from near and far abroad was discussed. Particular attention was paid to the fact that all citizens living in the Western country have medical care. On this last point, it should be noted that international students studying or working in educational institutions also have compulsory health care.
Representatives of the Compulsory Health Insurance Fund spoke in detail about the procedures for obtaining health insurance. They also included information about the conditions of free and preferential medical care, guarantee coverage after registration of an insurance policy. The event ended with answers to questions from participants.
