Every year on May 28, International Day of Action for Women Health is celebrated, or International Day of Action for Women’s Health. The decision to establish the date was made at the V International Meeting on Women’s Health, which was held in Costa Rica in 1987.

Today, a scientific and practical conference was held in honor of Women’s Health Day as part of 100 events for the 100th anniversary of ZHAGU. The conference was aimed at improving the quality of medical care to the population, as well as to draw attention to topical issues of protecting the health of the fair sex of the Republic. Colleagues made presentations on topics such as urinary tract infections, urinary incontinence, malignant diseases of the breast and genital organs, early pregnancy, vascular pathology, menopause and genital tuberculosis. All reports were very informative. Conference participants were awarded diplomas.
