A seminar was held for 1st to 3rd year students of the Faculty of Medicine JAGU, at the Department of Morphological Disciplines and Public Health on the topic: WE ARE FOR LIFE, WE ARE AGAINST AIDS!
The main goal of the seminar was not only to improve the health of children and young people living with HIV, but also reduce the stigma they face in everyday life. By raising public awareness of HIV, young people can become more independent. At the seminar, the participants discussed the risks of mother-to-child transmission of HIV, the specifics of working with adolescents and parents of children living with HIV, as well as aspects of psycho-social support for children and adolescents. there is stigmatization and unwillingness to openly discuss the topic of HIV and AIDS in society.
